☀️ Summer on Lake Sammamish

Come out on the boat!

Sunny days, good people, and the occasional cannonball. Pick a date, grab a seat, bring a swimsuit — we'll handle the rest.

What's a boat day?

Roughly five hours of doing as much (or as little) as you want on the water.

🌊

Cruise & anchor

Lazy laps around the lake, then drop anchor in a quiet cove to swim and float.

🛟

Tube & swim

We've got a towable tube and a ladder off the back. Hang on tight.

🥪

Snacks & sun

Coolers, tunes, shade under the bimini, and plenty of room to sprawl out.

🐶

Kids & dogs welcome

Little ones and good dogs are part of the crew. We've got jackets for everyone.

Stuff to do out there 🤙

As chill or as send-it as you like.

🛟 Tubing 🏄 Wakeboarding 🌊 Wake surfing* 🏊 Swimming & floating ⛵ Cruising & anchoring 😎 Snacks & sunbathing

*Heads up — the Switch isn't a dedicated surf boat, so wake surfing means holding onto the rope the whole way. Arms of steel encouraged. 💪

Days on the water 📸

A few snapshots from last summer aboard the Switch.

Before you board 🧭

Everything the curious among you might want to know.

We launch from the Lake Sammamish State Park boat launch in Issaquah (open in Google Maps ↗) — that's where the boat lives, so it's an easy east-side meetup. We'll drop a pin and a meet-up time in the group chat the week of your trip.
Heads up: the state-park lot needs a Discover Pass. No annual pass? You can buy a one-day pass right at the park when you pull in.
Nope — we've got a ton, in every size: infant, child, and youth all the way up to adult XXL (plus a few for the dogs 🐶). The law needs one per person aboard, so just tell us everyone's ages & rough sizes when you book and we'll have the right ones ready before we shove off.
You: swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a light layer (it gets breezy out there). Water shoes if you've got 'em.
Food & drink: we'll figure out lunch, ice, and drinks together in the group chat closer to the day — generally bring your own beverages 🍻 and a snack to share 🥪. We'll bring a cooler.
The Switch is rated for 9 people / 1,269 lbs. After our family of three that's about 6 guest seats per trip — so grab your spot early, and let us know your headcount when you book.
Absolutely — boat days are family-friendly and dog-friendly. We have kid, youth, and dog life jackets aboard. Just include them in your headcount so we save room (and the right jackets).
Most run about 11am–4pm (a few have earlier or later start times — it'll say on the booking page). Come for the whole thing or duck out early, totally up to you.
Nothing! Just bring your snacks/drinks and good energy. A cold one for the captain never hurts. 😎
It's a Seattle summer, so we keep an eye on the forecast. If it's looking stormy or miserable we'll give you a heads up and reschedule — nobody wants a soggy boat day.
